Instructions

Step 1
Put the steak in the freezer for about 10-15min
Step 2
Slice the steak into very thin pieces, chop the onion and mince the garlic.
Step 3
Heat the olive oil in the pan. Leave the heat on medium then add the onions and garlic and sautee for about 2-3min.
Step 4
Remove the onions. Again add the oil and heat it up. Then add the steak. Season with salt and pepper. Fry for 3-5min until cooked through.
Step 5
Add the onions to the steak and mix until well combined. Line the meat in a row.
Step 6
Place the cheese on top and let it melt.
Step 7
Meanwhile cut the bread in half. Spread both sides with the melted butter. Toast until golden brown.
Step 8
Stuff the bread with the philly cheese steak
