Instructions
Step 1
• 1. In medium bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, white cocoa mix and salt in large bowl and set aside.
Step 2
• 2. In another medium bowl, beat buttermilk, cooled melted butter, eggs, vanilla and vinegar together until smooth. Add buttermilk mixture to dry ingredients and whisk until smooth. Stir in red food coloring to desired shade of pink.
Step 3
• 3. Heat waffle iron the lowest possible setting. Pour waffle batter onto the waffle griddle. Close lid and cook for at least 10-12 minutes. Note- The waffle will need to cook longer on the lowest setting. *Cooking it at a higher setting will cause it to brown and not remain light pink*
Step 4
• 4. Serve each syrup and desired sides.
