Instructions
Step 1
Pre-heat griddle to medium heat.
Step 2
Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl
Step 3
Mix wet ingredients (milk, egg, vegetable oil, vanilla extract) together in a medium bowl.
Step 4
Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients until a batter forms and all of the dry ingredients have been mixed in. The batter may still have lumps.
Step 5
Pour 1/4 cup scoops of batter onto the griddle forming 3" diameter pancakes. You can get 6-8 on a standard electric griddle at one time.
Step 6
Cook until bubbles form on the top of the pancakes and the top begin to lose it's shine (about 3-5 minutes) then flip the pancakes and cook for a couple more minutes.
Step 7
Transfer the pancakes to a serving plate and repeat from step 4 until all of the batter is used up.
