1 lbelbows pasta
2 tspsalt
8bacon strips
cut in pieces
4 Tbspbutter
2 ½ Tbspflour
1 ¼ cmilk
½ cheavy cream
½ tspblack pepper
½ tspsalt
0.5 TspGarlic Powder
¼ tsponion powder
½ tsppaprika
½ cpasta water
6 ozcheddar cheese
6 ozpepper Jack
6 ozColby Jack
Green onion
sliced
For topping and layering
Instructions
Step 1
Add pasta and salt to a boiling pot of water and let cook
Step 2
Add bacon pieces to a pan and begin to cook
Step 3
Once cooked and crisp, remove bacon, while leaving the bacon grease in the pan

Add butter
Step 5
Add flour while whisking to create a roux
Step 6
Add milk and stir, keep heat at medium-low

Add heavy cream
Step 8
Stir in seasonings

Add pasta water and cheese
Step 10
Add bacon pieces and green onion, leave some aside for topping

Add sauce into the pasta and fold until combined
Step 12
Layer mac n cheese into a baking dish

Add cheese in between and on top
Step 14
Broil on the oven until the cheese on top melts and turn golden
Step 15
Top with the rest of the bacon and green onions and enjoy
