Ingredients

¼ cuprice flour
1 tspsea salt
¼ tspblack pepper
3 Tbspolive oil
1 lbchuck beef
Grass fed
3 cupslow sodium beef broth
2 Tbsptomato paste
2parsnips
1yellow onion
1 cupcremini mushrooms
1 tspground mustard seed
1 tspgarlic
1 tspcumin
1 tspturmeric
1 tspfennel seed
1 tspchili powder
½ tspground coriander
¼ tspcinnamon
¼ tspground ginger
1 headbroccoli
1 x 15 ozcan white beans
Instructions
Step 1
In a shallow dish whisk together flour, salt and pepper.
Step 2
Heat oil in skillet over medium high heat.
Step 3
Dredge beef cubes in flour mixture and place in skillet.
Step 4
Cook beef for 5 to 7 minutes, turning occasionally until beef begins to brown.
Step 5
In slow cooker whisk together broth, tomato paste and remaining flour mixture.
Step 6
Add the browned beef, parsnips, onion, mushrooms, and all of the spices. Cook on low for 8 hours.
Step 7
Add the broccoli, cook on low for another 30 minutes and serve.
