Delicious Black Bean Brownies

Definitely has the texture of a bean. The instructions weren't available so I blended all the ingredients together besides the chocolate chips and then poured them into baking dish prepared with coconut oil and topped it with the chocolate chips. Baked for 25 minutes at 350. I subbed the oat flour for gluten free all purpose and the sugar for coconut sugar. They aren't disgusting, just not like your typical brownie. If you're like me and have dietary restrictions they're worth trying. I'll probably make them again.

Amazing - does not taste like there’s beans in it at all and it’s really indulging feeling, especially considering it is a healthier brownie. I baked it in a 9x9 pan and 20min did the trick for me with bake time.

Definitely need to increase the bake time. I ended up doing about 30 min in the oven.

I over-baked these and they came out very spongy, so that’s on me, but they also did not keep very well. They were easy to make though and I had all the ingredients on hand so I might try these again and see if the correct bake time helps the texture and longevity. Notes: I substituted black beans for garbanzo since that’s what I had. I subbed out half the sugar for chocolate syrup to improve the color. I also used cassava flour instead of all-purpose as a GF alternative (cassava is recommended for baked goods that don’t rise).

So easy and good. My kids loved make them and eat them!

It was pretty good. I would do 2 eggs instead of 3. It might need to be baked an extra 5 mins or so. I wouldnt be able to tell there was black beans though!

Really good flavor, but a little too soft imo. Also, baking time was off, mine were in the oven for at least 25 minutes.

I have such I hard time making vegetables that my 5 year old will actually eat. He has low iron and these brownies are packed with iron and protein. My kids and husband love them and they have become a snack staple in our home. I will make a double batch and that lasts us a maximum of 3 days. Plus it is easy to make gluten free and vegan
