Instructions

Step 1
In a sauce pan heat milk, butter and honey over medium heat until butter has melted.
Step 2
Transfer milk mixture to a large mixing bowl. Sprinkle yeast over mixture and leave for 5 minutes. Mixture should get a little frothy.
Step 3
Add egg to mixture and whisk.
Step 4
Add flour and salt - mix to combine. Dough should be quite sticky. Cover with towel and set somewhere warm for 1 hour. Dough should double in size.
Step 5
On a lightly floured surface roll out dough to 1/2-1 inch. It will be sticky so you can sprinkle with flour to make it more manageable. Using a cup or mason jar cut out 4-6 circles.
Step 6
Heat a cast iron pan to low heat. Add dough, cover and cook for 6 minutes each side.
Step 7
Can store for 2-3 days.
