Maklouba An ancient palestinian dish that has a lot of life lessons It is extremely delicious, flavorful and easy to make Now i have not given this dish an ounce of justice with my lack of culinary skills but it actually turned out sooo delicious and very close to my moms.

Instructions

Step 1
Chop and slices the veggies and fry them on olive oil till almost cooked.
Step 2
In a large pot, sauté a small onion then add the chicken and cook it half way through, add the seasoning and remove the chicken from the pot. Layer the veggies at the bottom of the pan with the chicken, sprinkle some rice and layer once again.
Step 3
Add the rest of the rice and the boiling chicken stock.
Step 4
Let it get to a boil then drop the heat to a gentle simmer for about 45 minutes.
Step 5
Let it rest covered for 10-15 minutes then flip it on a big plate.
Step 6
Be patient while lifting the pot and hopefully it will be intact.
Step 7
Serve with yoghurt and salad & enjoy.
