Step 1
Mix flour and salt together in a bowl. Cut in tenderflake until crumbly texture like oatmeal.
Step 2
In liquid measuring cup, crack one egg and add vinegar (plan vinegar - no white wine vinegar, just distilled white). Mix, then top up liquid with water until it reaches the 1cup mark. THE FULL CUP OF WATER IS NOT NEEDED - this is important because it's best with extra egg and vinegar.
Step 3
Start by using half of your wet liquid into the dry, adding more liquid as it's needed until the flour comes together into a ball. Don't over mix as it'll reduce the flakiness. Divide in half and chill/freeze, good to use after 2 hours in the fridge.
(There is usually extra liquid that you can use for your egg wash if you're being lazy).
