Instructions

Dough

Step 1
Heat sour cream until warm and pour into a mixing bowl
Step 2
Add dissolved yeast with rest of ingredients, except flour, and mix until smooth.
Step 3
Add two cups of the flour and knead
Step 4
Add remaining flour and knead into a smooth dough.
Step 5
Set dough to rise in a greased bowl for I hour. Punch down dough and let rise for an additional 30 minutes.
Step 6
Divide dough into three even parts. Roll out each part of dough into a 6 x 25-inch rectangle.
Step 7
Melt butter and Brush butter onto each dough.

Filling

Step 8
Mix brown sugar with cinnamon. Sprinkle over buttered dough. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Step 9
Fold dough in half lengthwise. Cut dough in the width into 1-inch strips. Twist each strip and pinch edges. Place twists onto lined cookie sheets. (Twists should be placed gently touching each other to retain its shape.)
Step 10
Bake for 12-15 minutes.

Glaze

Step 11
Mix sugars and butter until creamy. Add boiling water, and drizzle glaze over twists.
Step 12
Cool twists and separate from each other.
