Ingredients
4 servings
1 lbshrimp
peeled and deveined
2salmon filets
cubed
Seasoning
Original, to taste
Garlic Pepper Seasoning
to taste
2 teaspoonpaprika
1 boxpenne pasta
1 pintheavy cream
1 cupparmesan cheese
⅓ cupmozzarella cheese
1 pintCherry Tomatoes
2 cupsfresh spinach
1 tablespoonfresh basil
1shallot
minced
3cloves of garlic
minced
4 tablespoonsbutter
olive oil
Instructions
Step 1
1. Cook penne pasta according to box directions. Set aside 1 cup of pasta water and then drain pasta. Set aside while you make the sauce.
Step 2
2. Season shrimp with Chilau’s Original seasoning, Garlic Pepper seasoning and paprika. Set aside. Cube 2 salmon fillets and season with the same seasonings.
Step 3
3. In a large skillet, add olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Sear shrimp over medium heat on each side until done. Remove from the pan and set aside. In the same skillet, cook the salmon until fully cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
Step 4
4. Add two tablespoons of butter to the skillet and sauté shallots until translucent. Add garlic and cook for two minutes. Add heavy cream, Parmesan cheese and mozzarella and simmer until sauce has thickened. Add cherry tomatoes, spinach and basil.
Step 5
5. Once the spinach has welted, add cooked pasted and shrimp back to the skillet and toss until well combined.
Step 6
6. Once plated, top with cooked salmon.
