Instructions
Step 1
First, boil your water. After the water is boiled, salt the water. Pour in your pasta and cook by packaged instructions. When finished, reserve 2 cups of pasta water.
Step 2
While your pasta is cooking, blend the walnuts, cheese, and garlic. When it is completely blended, add the basil, parsley, and olive oil. Keep the pesto mixture in the blender.
Step 3
Put the cooked pasta into the serving bowl. Before putting the pesto mixture into the blender - turn the blender on and slowly pour in the pasta water. This will thicken the pesto mixture. When finished, pour the pesto mixture onto your pasta. Top off with 2-3 pats of butter.
Step 4
Garnish with grated cheese. Serve and enjoy!
