Korean fried chicken with a honey butter sauce. My boyfriends favorite thing I make. I got the recipe from Maangchi you can watch her make the recipe on YouTube if you’d like :)

Instructions

Step 1
1. Put chicken in bow season with salt and pepper

2. Add eggs, flour, corn starch and baking soda to bowl and mix with chicken by hand

Heat oil over medium high to high heat. cook chicken wings for five to seven minutes.

Take out an let rest for a minute or two

Add chicken back into the oil and fry 5 to ten minutes per side or until golden brown and crunchy

Transfer chicken to metal strainer and turn off the heat

Honey butter sauce

Step 7
Mince garlic
Step 8
Add garlic and butter to a preheated skillet. When the garlic becomes fragrant and butter is melted add soy sauce and sugar. Mix and add honey. Wait for sauce to become bubbly and thicken
Step 9
Toss the chicken and sauce until coated evenly
Step 10
Add pumpkin seeds for an extra crunch
