Instructions

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375F.
Step 2
If using a whole chicken, cut it up into good size pieces. Melt margarine in a 9 x 13 dish, add onion, bell pepper, celery. I like to put it in the oven at this point to just to cook the vegetables a little. Add rice and water.
Step 3
Salt and pepper the chicken pieces and place in the dish skin side up. Spoon undiluted soup evenly on each piece. Place uncovered in the oven for 1 hour 15 minutes. Chicken should be lightly browned.
