Instructions

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Coat a 9 x 13-inch baking dish with cooking spray and set aside.

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the onion and sauté for 4 minutes.

Add in the garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Add the onions and garlic to a large mixing bowl.
Step 6
Add the remaining ingredients to the bowl and mix well with your hands, but don’t over-handle the meat. The mixture should just be combined.
Step 7
Turn the meat mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Step 8
Combine the glaze ingredients and mix until the sugar is dissolved.
Step 9
Using a brush, coat the top of the meatloaf with the glaze.
Step 10
Bake the meatloaf for 60 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F. The meatloaf should be nicely browned, and the edges should look crusty.
Step 11
Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let rest for 15 minutes before slicing.
